Our ad promise

Free games have to be paid for somehow, and on the open web that means ads. We think that can be done respectfully — so here are our rules, in writing. Hold us to them.

What we will never do

• No popups or pop-unders. Ever.
• No redirects. You will never be taken to another site without clicking something.
• No mid-round interruptions from us. Any ad we place lives in fixed spots around the page — never on top of your game.
• No auto-playing audio.
• No fake download buttons or misleading ads. If you see one, report it in the chat and we will pull the ad network that served it.

What you should know about the games themselves

Many games in our catalog are made by independent studios and distributed through game networks. These games may show a short ad from their creator before or during play — inside the game window. That ad is how the game's developer gets paid, and we cannot remove it. Games that do this carry an Includes in-game ads badge on their card, so you know before you click Play.

Why our games load only when you press Play

Nothing from a game — including its ads — loads until you press the Play button. That keeps pages fast and means simply browsing the site loads no ad scripts at all.
